Swansea City sign Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero on a four-year deal, the club confirm.

Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Ecuador World Cup winger Jefferson Montero on a four-year deal.

The Welsh side have not disclosed the fee to bring in the 24-year-old, who joins the club from Mexican top-flight side Morelia.

"Swansea City have completed their fifth summer signing with the arrival of Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero," the club said in a statement on their website.

"The 24-year-old, renowned for his pace, has penned a four-year deal at the Liberty following his move from Mexican top-flight club Morelia for an undisclosed fee."

Montero has been capped 43 times by Ecuador.
