Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou is warning other clubs that defender Mark Milligan is not for sale.

Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou has said that Mark Milligan is an important part of his plans for the club.

The Australia international is reportedly a target for several club during this transfer window, including Queens Park Rangers.

Postecoglou told the Herald Sun: "He's got two years to go with us [on his contract] so it's as much our decision as anyone else's.

"With every good performance he has at national level I guess his value goes up for ourselves and for anyone else that wants him.

"He's very much a very important part of what we're about and what we want to create."

The defender has won 20 caps for Australia.
