Chris Coleman to leave Wales job?

Chris Coleman's future as Wales manager is cast into doubt after his upcoming press conference is cancelled.

Chris Coleman's future as Wales manager has been thrown into fresh doubt after his press conference on Friday was cancelled.

Coleman was due to announce his squad for the friendly against Finland next weekend, but Wales Online reveals that the media appearance will not take place.

It is claimed that officials from the Football Association of Wales were keen to play down any significance in the development – which comes hours after John Hartson left his coaching role with the national team.

Coleman has been heavily linked with the vacant managerial post at Crystal Palace and the 43-year-old's contract with the FAW is due to run after the Finland game.
