Walter Mazzarri: 'Watford have the complete squad'

Watford boss Walter Mazzarri says that he has "the complete squad" at Vicarage Road after a busy summer in the transfer market.

Watford boss Walter Mazzarri has said that he is "very happy" with the squad that has been put together at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets are still awaiting their first win of the Premier League season after a tough start to the campaign but Mazzarri - who replaced Quique Flores in the summer - is delighted with the club's transfer business.

As many as 14 new faces have arrived and although Mazzarri has acknowledged that some players may take time to settle, he says he is hopeful that they can contribute to a positive result at West Ham United on Saturday.

The 54-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I like to work with a group that I chose myself, and I'm very happy with this one because now we have the complete squad.

"Perhaps we are still delayed one or two weeks of preparation, but now I know we are very competitive and hopefully starting from tomorrow we will start to do a great competition."

Watford are currently in the relegation zone after registering just one point from games against Southampton, Chelsea and Arsenal.
