Team News: Simone Zaza handed West Ham United debut

Simone Zaza is handed his West Ham United debut against Watford, while fit-again playmaker Dimitri Payet also starts for the Hammers.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has thrown new signing Simone Zaza straight into his starting XI for this afternoon's Premier League clash with Watford.

The Juventus loanee will lead the line at the London Stadium, and is one of three changes to the side that lost 3-1 to Manchester City before the international break.

Fit-again Dimitri Payet makes his first start of the season having fully recovered from a thigh injury, while Manuel Lanzini is also named in the starting XI for the first time this season.

Watford, meanwhile, are able to welcome Miguel Britos and Craig Cathcart back into their starting XI, the latter of whom has recovered from a groin strain to feature.

Club-record signing Roberto Pereyra makes his full debut for the club having come off the bench to score during the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last time out as manager Walter Mazzarri continues his search for a first win in charge of the club.

There is also a first start for Daryl Janmaat following his summer switch from Newcastle United, but the likes of Isaac Success and Ben Watson, the latter of whom is back from suspension, have to make do with a place on the bench.
