Preview: Watford vs. Charlton Athletic

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship clash between Watford and Charlton Athletic.

Watford host Charlton Athletic at Vicarage Road this weekend in the Championship with three points up for grabs.

Gianfranco Zola's men suffered their first defeat of the campaign before the international break, falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Blackpool.

Before their loss, the Hornets racked up two victories and two draws, while this weekend's opponents Charlton claimed their first win of the season courtesy of a 2-1 win over Leicester City.

Watford are expected to play Almen Abdi at Vicarage Road after the midfielder passed a fitness test following a minor foot injury, while Ikechi Anya is expected to start.

For Charlton, manager Chris Powell could bring new signing Cameron Stewart into the fold at some point, while Chris Solly may replace Lawrie Wilson in the team.
