Half-Time Report: Stubborn West Bromwich Albion holding Bournemouth

West Brom hold Championship club Bournemouth to a 0-0 half-time draw in their Capital One Cup clash at the Goldsands Stadium.

West Bromwich Albion have held Championship outfit Bournemouth to a goalless half-time draw in their fourth-round Capital One Cup clash at the Goldsands Stadium tonight.

Both sides fashioned but missed good chances throughout the first 45 minutes as goalkeepers Lee Camp and Boaz Myhill proved equal to everything that came their way.

Some two minutes elapsed before Eddie Howe's side threatened an upset againt their Premier League counterparts, with Yann Kermorgant drilling a shot straight at Myhill.

West Brom brushed off that early scare and went close themselves through Liam O'Neil, who saw his back-post header drift narrowly wide of the mark.

Both teams had good chances to move ahead prior to the break, as Myhill thwarted Tokelo Rantie before West Brom record signing Brown Ideye failed to beat Camp from a good position.
