Roy Hodgson is leaving his options open after refusing to commit to a new deal at West Brom.

West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has opened the door for an approach from England after saying that he is unsure over his future at the Hawthorns.

The 64-year-old has been linked with the Three Lions post following Fabio Capello's resignation in February.

Hodgson's contract with the Baggies expires at the end of this season and while he is happy with life at West Brom, he isn't committing to a new deal with the club just yet.

"I have said on many occasions that I like the club, like the people and am enjoying myself," said Hodgson.

"We are approaching that stage now where no doubt the discussions [over a new deal] will hot up a bit.

"It's clear the club would like me to stay but I still prefer to keep the door open for the moment."

The former Fulham boss took over at West Brom in February last year following a short spell in charge of Liverpool.
