West Bromwich Albion are reportedly close to tying up the signing of Venezuela international striker Salomon Rondon from Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
The 25-year-old joined Zenit in January 2014 from Rubin Kazan and has scored 20 goals in 37 Russian Premier League games in his 18 months at the club.
He had been linked with clubs including Newcastle United and Aston Villa this transfer window, but according to the Birmingham Mail and the Express & Star Tony Pulis plans to make the attacker his fourth signing of the summer.
The Baggies have already added striker Rickie Lambert, winger James McClean and defender James Chester to their squad this summer, and are looking to tie up a loan deal for Arsenal's Serge Gnabry.
