West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has admitted that he is pleased with the club's business in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers brought in nine new faces before Monday's deadline, including Barcelona midfielder Alex Song on a season-long loan.
Having revamped his squad during the last few weeks, Allardyce is now keen to gel his players together as soon as possible.
"It has been a good window for us," he told the club's official website. "We have signed a lot of players and we hope they bed in now. Hopefully they will get better and better as quickly as possible."
West Ham are back in action on September 15 when they make the trip to Hull City in the Premier League.
