West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic backs deputy goalkeeper Darren Randolph

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic backs his deputy keeper Darren Randolph ahead of the club's home fixture against Bournemouth this weekend.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has backed deputy keeper Darren Randolph to succeed when his side take on Bournemouth this Saturday.

The Ireland international has conceded 16 goals in his last three appearances against the Cherries, half of which came in Bournemouth's 8-0 victory over former club Birmingham City in the Championship last October.

"Darren is doing well and he is an experienced goalkeeper, an international, so I'm expecting him to be in goal," Bilic told reporters ahead of the weekend fixture.

"It's very short-sighted to say he has a problem with Bournemouth. It happened once.

"He is experienced, he is good and he played in so many games and what happened with Bournemouth could happen to anyone or to him against any other team."

First-choice keeper Adrian is suspended for three matches after the Football Association rejected West Ham's appeal against the red card received by the Spaniard during the Irons' 2-1 defeat to Leicester City.
