Slaven Bilic wants to create stylish West Ham United side

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic says that his side should look to play with style and organisation next term.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has stated that he wants his side to play with flair and organisation next season.

The former Hammers defender was confirmed as the club's new boss last week on a three-year deal.

Bilic has conceded that, while picking up results will be important, his side will need to entertain the West Ham supporters at the same time.

"If you want to be successful you can't have just one way of playing. You need organisation and also flair players," the London Evening Standard quotes the Croatian as saying.

"Every manager would love players who will nod at whatever you say. But to go to an away game in front of 60,000 people booing, you have to be special.

"I cannot point at a blue chair and say 'Look at that purple chair' to someone special. If he is strong on the pitch, he is strong off the pitch. I like those characters."

Bilic succeeded Sam Allardyce at Upton Park.
