Dimitri Payet: "I'm 100% staying at West Ham United"

Dimitri Payet gives West Ham United a major boost by declaring that he will definitely be staying at the club this summer.

West Ham United playmaker Dimitri Payet has moved to put an end to speculation over his future by fully committing himself to the club.

The France international has attracted attention from many of European football's big-name clubs following a stellar debut campaign at Upton Park.

Payet also impressed for the host nation at this summer's European Championship finals, scoring three times - including a goal of the tournament contender in the opener - to help his side through to the final.

France would go on to lose to Portugal in last Sunday's final but, speaking to The Sun in the aftermath of that match at the Stade de France, Payet declared that he will definitely be staying put this summer.

"I've heard about all the interest and I'm flattered," he said. "But I love West Ham. We had a fantastic season and I can't wait to play in the Olympic Stadium.

"I'm 100% staying at West Ham, I love the club. I can tell the Hammers fans that."

West Ham co-chairman David Gold recently announced that he has no intention of selling the Hammers' star asset, who scored 12 goals in 38 appearances last term.
