Ryan Tunnicliffe has described his loan move to Wigan Athletic as an "exciting new chapter" in his career.
The 21-year-old midfielder yesterday put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season just a month after he permanently signed for Fulham on transfer deadline day.
"It's an exciting new chapter in my career, the new manager (Felix Magath) at Fulham has allowed me to come here on loan and my aim is to just get out there and play as many games as I possibly can," he told Wigan's website.
Tunnicliffe, who joined Fulham from Manchester United, added that it was good to be back in the North-West.
"Being a North-West lad I recognise that it's a great time to be here, especially with the playoff push on right now and I'm just looking forward to playing," he added.
Tunnicliffe was also in the Championship during the first half of the campaign, where he made 27 league appearances for Ipswich Town.
