Team News: Adam Forshaw comes in for Wigan Athletic

Wigan make one change for tonight's Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday, while the Owls bring in three new faces.

Adam Forshaw has been restored to the Wigan Athletic starting lineup for this evening's Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday at the DW Stadium.

The midfielder replaces Don Cowie in the side as Malky MacKay looks to build on his first win in charge of the club on Boxing Day.

Wednesday, meanwhile, make three changes to the side that beat Blackpool on Friday as captain Glenn Loovens, Atdhe Nuhiu and Jacques Maghoma are all drafted in by Stuart Gray.

Claude Dielna, Royston Drenthe and Stevie May are the men who make way as the Owls aim to move within six points of the playoff positions.

Wigan: Carson; Tavernier, Taylor, Ramis, McCann, Watson, McClean, Perch, Forshaw, Kiernan, Fortune

Sheff Weds: Westwood; Palmer, Loovens, Lees, Mattock; Maguire, Helan, Maghoma, McGugan, Semedo; Nuhiu
