Josuha Guilavogui has admitted that Wolfsburg would be a different side without the services of "magician" Kevin De Bruyne.
Much of Wolfsburg's summer has been dominated by talk of the future of De Bruyne, who has been repeatedly linked with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain despite the club insisting that they have no intention of selling him in the current window.
As they prepare for a return to the Champions League and another attempt at beating Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title, Guilavogui claims that the Belgian holds the key to Wolfsburg's success.
"I'm lucky to be able to train with Kevin every day; what he can do is simply amazing," the midfielder told the club's website. "He's world class, there's no doubt about it.
"He's got a knack of always being in the right place and is fantastic at shifting the play. He's our magician. Without Kevin, it would be different because he gives us our edge."
Wolfsburg start the new Bundesliga campaign by hosting Eintracht Frankfurt next Saturday.
