Fortuna Dusseldorf draw at Wolfsburg

Fortuna Dusseldorf extend their unbeaten run to six matches with a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

Fortuna Dusseldorf have extended their unbeaten run to six matches with a 1-1 draw at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

The home side nearly took the lead in the 18th minute, but Ricardo Rodriguez's long-range effort came back off the post.

However, Dusseldorf got themselves in front 10 minutes before the half-time whistle as Mathis Bolly guided Robbie Kruse's cross into the net.

Wolfsburg secured a share of the points seven minutes after the restart thanks to Ivica Olic's finish through the legs of goalkeeper Fabian Giefer.

Robert Tesche almost grabbed a winner for the visitors with 20 minutes left to play, only to see his curled shot hit the crossbar.
