Half-Time Report: Oldham Athletic hold Wolverhampton Wanderers

Oldham Athletic hold Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 0-0 half-time draw at Molineux in League One.

Oldham Athletic have held Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 0-0 half-time draw at Molineux tonight.

Wolves, who can go to within two points of Leyton Orient at the summit of League One with a victory, should have taken the lead as early as the seventh minute, but Bakary Sako forced goalkeeper Mark Oxley into a smart save.

Both sides struggled to cope with the rain-soaked conditions at Molineux, but Wolves boss Kenny Jackett watched on as his team almost defied the elements, only for Oxley to tip Danny Batth's corner over the bar in the closing stages of the first half.
