Nikica Jelavic appears to be unfairly flagged offside as Everton control the opening half at Molineux.

Everton had the better of the play in the opening 45 minutes but remain level with Wolverhampton Wanderers with the second half to come.

Tim Cahill tested Dorus de Vries with an early volley before Nikica Jelavic saw Richard Stearman get in the way of his angled effort.

Christophe Berra wasted the hosts' first real chance by heading over a Stephen Hunt delivery before Everton thought they'd taken the lead.

First Steven Pienaar blazed over after going through on goal, then came the half's talking point as Jelavic tucked home as the flag was raised for offside. Replays indicate that the Croatian may have been just level with Ronald Zubar.

If the score remains level Everton will edge four points clear of Merseyside rivals Liverpool in the Premier League.
