Mike Williamson not ready to return for Wolverhampton Wanderers

Mike Williamson is not ready to return to action from a hamstring injury, according to Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has confirmed that Mike Williamson will not feature against Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

The centre-back recently made a return to training following a stint on the sidelines with a hamstring complaint.

However, Jackett has revealed that Williamson will need to prove his fitness with the Under-21s before he comes back into contention for the senior side.

"Mike Williamson is progressing, but he's not near a game yet in terms of the Under-21s or, more likely, an in-house game," he told the club's official website.

"He'll need one, but we can do that and make sure he gets that as and when he is ready."

Wolves will make the trip to the John Smith's Stadium 12th in the Championship.
