Wolverhampton Wanderers will offer former Millwall boss Kenny Jackett the chance to become their new manager, according to a report.

Wolverhampton Wanderers want former Millwall boss Kenny Jackett to guide them back to the Championship next season, according to a report.

Jackett resigned as Lions' manager at the end of last season after helping the club escape relegation to League One, while also leading them to the FA Cup semi-finals.

Wolves are currently without a manager after they sacked Dean Saunders following their relegation to the third tier of English football, but the club's board feel that Jackett is the right man to win them promotion back to the Championship, reports the Daily Mail.

The Midlands side have suffered back-to-back relegations and are looking for their fifth manager in just over a year.
