Wolverhampton Wanderers to interview Kenny Jackett?

A report says that Kenny Jackett will meet officials from Wolverhampton Wanderers to discuss their managerial job.

Kenny Jackett will reportedly become the first manager to be interviewed by Wolverhampton Wanderers regarding their vacancy.

The club, who were relegated from the Championship last season, have been in the market for a new boss ever since the decision was taken to part company with Dean Saunders last week.

On the same day that Saunders was relieved of his duties, Jackett stepped down as manager of Millwall and made his interest in the Wolves post known soon after, according to the Express & Star.

The report added that the Wolves board have accepted his application and will now meet with the 51-year-old to discuss the job later today.

Former England coach Steve McClaren and Owen Coyle are also thought to be in the running.
