Kenny Jackett confirms Jamie O'Hara interest

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett confirms that there is outside interest in Jamie O'Hara.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has revealed that a number of clubs are monitoring out-of-favour midfielder Jamie O'Hara.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is one of a number of players that have been deemed surplus to requirements at the League One club this summer.

However, Jackett has confirmed that a number of scouts have been watching O'Hara's performances in recent Under-21 matches.

"I feel for those [transfer-listed] lads. If they can get some game time in the run-up to the window closing they then have the opportunity to phone around and phone their agents and let people come and watch them," Jackett told the Birmingham Mail.

"The scouts requests for the game were really, really high. I don't know if [O'Hara] is the reason, the amount of clubs that come and watch these games on a regular basis is very, very high anyway."

Roger Johnson and Stephen Ward are also among those that have been told they can leave.
