Aaron Martin to sign for Yeovil Town from Birmingham City

Aaron Martin agrees to join Yeovil Town once his contract with Birmingham City expires next month.

Aaron Martin has agreed to join Yeovil Town once his contract with Birmingham City expires next month.

The 24-year-old centre-back only joined the Blues in January from Southampton, but has failed to do enough to earn a new deal at St Andrew's and will now join the Glovers in League One.

He will sign a two-year contract at Huish Park.

Glovers boss Gary Johnson told the club website: "We are delighted to have been able to sign Aaron, a player that I have tried to sign on a few occasions with other clubs so I am really pleased."

Martin made eight appearances for Birmingham in the Championship last season.
