Rangi Chase dropped for New Zealand clash

Steve McNamara omits Rangi Chase from his England squad to face New Zealand in this afternoon's Rugby League World Cup semi-final at Wembley.

England coach Steve McNamara has made two changes to the squad he picked against France for this afternoon's Rugby League World Cup semi-final clash with New Zealand.

Rangi Chase and Michael McIlorum are the men who drop out of the 19, with Gareth Widdop and Carl Ablett stepping into the void.

The host nation - looking to reach their first final since 1995, go into the match as the underdogs.

For the Kiwis, Jason Nightingale has been brought in for the injured Manu Vatuvei, who is missing with a knee injury.

Otherwise, Stephen Kearney's squad is at full strength, with the jewel in his crown being Sydney Roosters star Sonny Bill Williams.
