Paul Anderson has praised the "effort and determination" of his Huddersfield Giants side following the 31-22 win over Wigan Warriors on Thursday.
Having slumped to a 41-22 defeat to St Helens last time out, the Giants responded to their critics by recovering from 12-0 down to beat Wigan at the John Smith's Stadium.
Anderson's side move fifth in the Super League table as a result of the victory, and the coach was full of praise for how his charges recovered from their early setback.
"It was a win based on effort and attention," he told Sky Sports News. "It was about effort and determination.
"It showed we are getting back into some sort of groove, although 20 points conceded is still not good enough.
"I thought we gifted them some points with some poor decisions defensively, but we showed character to come back."
Huddersfield travel away to Leeds Rhinos on June 12.
