Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has praised his side for their 'professional' victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in Super League.
The Giants made it three consecutive wins in the competition on Sunday thanks to a 32-14 triumph at the Galpharm Stadium.
While admitting that the match was not an entertaining spectacle, Anderson believes that his players did all that they needed to prevail.
"I thought we competed well," he told the club's official website. "I don't think there was any great tempo in the game but I thought we did what we needed to do.
"Hull KR were building some form and they've got some football in them. Barring that try at the end, which I wasn't happy about, I thought defensively we were quite good. I thought we took our time to get going, which is typical game after a couple of weeks off."
Huddersfield, who remain in fourth position in the table, are back in action on July 10 when they will travel to St Helens.
