Wigan Warriors' Liam Farrell will go before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel after a dangerous tackle on Huddersfield's Leroy Cudjoe.
The 21-year-old was also cautioned for the use of a forearm on hooker Luke Robinson.
Farrell could now miss crunch matches at home to Leeds Rhinos and away to Bradford Bulls if found guilty of the grade B offence.
Wigan lost 16-20 to Hudderfield Giants at the DW Stadium.
