Bath Rugby have confirmed that Sam Burgess will make his first competitive start in rugby union in tomorrow night's clash with Montpellier.
The 25-year-old, who made his debut for the Aviva Premiership outfit two weeks ago when he came off the bench in the 25-6 victory over Harlequins, will play inside centre in the European Rugby Champions Cup meeting at the Recreation Ground.
Burgess spent the first few months of his Bath tenure recovering from a cheekbone and eye socket fracture, which he sustained while playing for former side South Sydney Rabbitohs last season.
Elsewhere, South African flanker Francois Louw will also make his first start of the campaign after overcoming a neck injury.
