Sam Burgess has insisted that he is ready to start for England when they face Wales in their second match at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The rugby league convert came on as a replacement in the opening fixture against Fiji, helping set up the fourth try for the host nation in the 35-11 win.
The 26-year-old, who has been playing union for just 10 months, told reporters: "Yes of course I feel ready, I feel comfortable. I've been around this group a long time now. We believe in each other and we believe in ourselves, that's certainly the case for myself.
"I enjoyed my performance and I thought I added something to the team. The boys before me had laid a great foundation so that we were able to come on and finish the job."
England face Warren Gatland's side on Saturday at Twickenham.
