A try from Dom Waldouck helped Northampton take the lead in the first half, and head into the break with a four-point lead.

The home side were strong after half time, Josh Strauss crossing the whitewash to put Warriors ahead.

A closely-fought spell followed, with another try for Glasgow and two for Saints, leveling the scores heading in to the last 10 minutes.

The visitors finished the game with 14 men after Alex Waller was shown a yellow card for punching an opponent in the 79th minute of the game.

Horne made the most of the numerical advantage, scoring the try before kicking the conversion.

The result gives Glasgow their first win in the Heineken Cup this season, while the loss ends Northampton's hopes of progressing to the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
