Rhys Ruddock has been drafted into the Ireland squad as a replacement for Peter O'Mahony.
Team manager Mick Kearney confirmed earlier today that flanker O'Mahony would miss the remainder of the tournament due to the hamstring complaint that he sustained during the 24-9 win over France yesterday afternoon.
It has now been revealed that Leinster's Ruddock, who recently recovered from a broken arm, has been called up as cover for the Munster player, with his first outing potentially the quarter-final tie against Argentina on Sunday.
The 24-year-old has represented Ireland on five previous occasions.
