Sam Warburton: "The best team won"

Wales captain Sam Warburton admits that Ireland were the better team in the Six Nations match between the two sides.

Sam Warburton has admitted that "the best team won" when Ireland thrashed Wales 26-3 in the Six Nations this afternoon.

Chris Henry and Paddy Jackson both scored tries, while Jonathan Sexton kicked a string of penalties to keep the home side at the top of the championship table.

The Wales captain told BBC Sport: "The best team won and credit is due to Ireland. But we have still got three games left. We won the Championship last year with four wins and that's still achievable this year.

"The dressing room is pretty calm. We have to re-group next week and it's going to be a test of character to bounce back in two weeks against France."

Wales are bidding to become the first team in the history of the competition to win the title outright three years in a row.
