Ireland international Jamie Hagan has signed a two-year contract at Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels.
The prop, capped once in 2013, has made over 100 appearances during a career in which he has played for Leinster, Connacht and London Irish.
"Growing up in Ireland, I have always watched Super Rugby on a Saturday morning and it has always fascinated me," the 28-year-old said, according to the club's website.
"Now, after eight years playing professionally in Ireland and England, I have an amazing opportunity to move to Melbourne and play both with and against people of such a high calibre."
Melbourne, who finished 10th last season, are coached by former Munster boss Tony McGahan.
