New Zealand hooker Keven Mealamu has announced that he will retire after next month's Rugby World Cup.
The 36-year-old was part of the side which lifted the trophy four years ago, and is set to compete in his fourth World Cup.
He said in a statement: "It has been an amazing journey and something I could never have dreamed of. It has always been about the enjoyment and love of the game and I'm really thankful for the opportunity."
Mealamu made his debut in 2002 and has played 126 times for the All Blacks.
