A late Richard Mayhew try has earned the Newcastle Falcons a draw against Worcester Warriors in their bottom-of-the-table clash at Kingston Park.
The visitors went ahead after five minutes when Joe Carlisle kicked over a penalty.
The Falcons drew themselves level seven minutes later after Jimmy Gopperth scored a penalty of his own.
Carlisle kicked over again on 20 minutes, but Gopperth cancelled out his effort two minutes later to make the score 6-6.
The Warriors dealt the hosts a blow after 27 minutes when Shaun Perry touched down. Carlisle succesfully kicked the conversion to give his side a 13-6 half-time lead.
Newcastle reduced the deficit eight minutes after the break when Gopperth scored his third penalty of the night, but replacement Andy Goode's kick extended the away side's advantage.
However, Mayhew's late try, converted by Gopperth, secured the draw.
