Sale Sharks fly-half Danny Cipriani has revealed that he wants a return to the England squad.
The 24-year-old, who joined Sale from Melbourne Rebels in the summer, won the last of his seven international caps in 2008.
"I still obviously want to play for England but we need to improve what we're doing here at Sale and week in, week out keep putting in the performances so that you can put your hand up to get selected," he told Sky Sports News.
"You can get bogged down thinking about too many things that are out of your control."
Cipriani came off the bench to inspire the Sharks to a 34-33 victory over Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.
