Jonny Wilkinson has agreed to join Toulon's coaching staff following his retirement from rugby.
The fly-half, who won his second Heineken Cup title with the team at the weekend, will end his playing career after the Top 14 final against Castres.
The club's coach, Bernard Laporte, told La Provence: "A person of his stature will undoubtedly bring something more in the frame, it is obvious. He will not necessarily travel with the team all the time because he wants to take a step back at weekends."
Wilkinson retired from international rugby as England's record points scorer in 2011.
