David Ferrer has admitted that he is expecting a "tough" match against Rafael Nadal when they meet in the semi-finals of the French Open on Friday.
World number six Ferrer saw off Andy Murray in four sets on Wednesday, while defending champion Nadal brushed aside Nicolas Almagro earlier in the day.
"It will be a tough match against Rafa. He's the best in history on this surface, but I hope to have a good match," Ferrer told reporters.
Nadal is aiming for a record seventh title at Roland Garros with victory this year.
