Tomas Berdych knocks Pablo Andujar out of Paris Masters

Tomas Berdych is through to the third round at the Paris Masters following a 6-2 7-5 win over Spain's Pablo Andujar.

Tomas Berdych has progressed to the third round of the Paris Masters following a straight-sets win over Pablo Andujar this evening.

The Czech player was too strong for his opponent in the opening set, quickly racing to a 5-1 lead.

The Spaniard got a break back, but it was not enough to stop the sixth seed wrapping up the opener 6-2.

Andujar offered more resistance in the second set, clinching an early break while Berdych made a series of double faults.

However, Berdych pulled the set back to 5-5 before securing another break and serving out the match, setting up a third-round meeting with either Milos Raonic or Robin Haase.
