Serena Williams has won the Rogers Cup after a straight sets victory over Samantha Stosur.
The 29-year-old's powerful serve proved too much for her Australian opponent and Williams took the first set 6-4.
The American then broke Stosur's serve twice to win the second set 6-2 and claim the title.
This latest victory comes two weeks after success at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Connecticut.
