Kim Clijsters has revealed that she was "very happy" with the way that she played against Andrea Hlavackova earlier today.
The Belgian, who is retiring at the end of the season, recorded a 6-3 6-3 win over Hlavackova on Centre Court.
Speaking after that match, the 29-year-old admitted that she had improved her performance from the opening round.
"I'm very happy with the way I played today, I played well in the first round but I felt that was a step up," she told BBC Sport. "I had never played against my opponent before today but I felt I was into the match as soon as I started."
Clijsters has never gone beyond the semi-finals at SW19.
