Andy Murray is expecting a "tough" match in the semi-finals of Wimbledon against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Andy Murray has admitted that he will face a "tough" opponent in Jo-Wilfried Tsonga during the semi-finals of Wimbledon on Friday.

The Scot booked his place in the final four at SW19 thanks to a four-set win over Spain's David Ferrer this evening.

He will now face number five seed Tsonga for a slot in Sunday's final and the world number four believes that he will have to be at his very best to advance through.

"Tsonga will be tough," he told BBC Sport. "He's serving very well. I don't know about today but he hadn't been losing his serve too often.

"We played in the quarter-finals a couple of years ago and it was a difficult match. I'll have to play very well."

Murray has won the last two meetings between the pair on grass.
