Sinisa Mihajlovic has challenged Roberto Mancini to a derby wager ahead of tomorrow's clash between AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Mihajlovic proposed that the winner of the upcoming Milan derby would donate money to a charity mutually chosen by both clubs.
The Milan boss hopes that the funds raised from the match will be used to help refugees in Europe.
"There is an issue that has existed for several years and that has become an even more pressing concern over the past few days: migrants," Mihajlovic is quoted as saying by the Express Tribune.
"Men, women, children, multitudes of desperate people that are fleeing from war, genocide, hunger and poverty.
"It is a problem that particularly affects my heart because I have lived through the same thing in my country, when the civil war overturned the former Yugoslavia. Whoever wins the derby will pay up. Mancio, are you with me?"
Mancini responded by saying: "I accept. And it will be me who pays!"
Milan face Inter tomorrow at 7.45pm.
