After back-to-back defeats, Juventus will seek an end to their three-game winless streak on Sunday, when they welcome Serie A strugglers Empoli to Turin.
The Bianconeri recently followed their first league loss of the season with another setback in Europe, while their ailing visitors have slumped to the foot of the form table.
We say: Juventus 2-1 Empoli
While Empoli can consider this Sunday lunchtime clash a free hit, Juventus are burdened by the need to reverse their recent downturn.
New additions have freshened up the hosts' squad, so they can edge past an away side that knows how to grind out results on the road.

After getting back in the hunt for a top-four finish, Fiorentina will seek to stop Genoa's revival when the teams meet at Stadio Franchi on Sunday.
A haul of four points from two games has halted the Viola's dive down the Serie A standings, while their visitors are riding high in the form table.
We say: Fiorentina 1-0 Genoa
It should be a close-fought contest on Sunday afternoon, as Genoa can be tough to beat away from home - and they have been keeping things tight under Patrick Vieira.
Fiorentina's front line features more variety, though, and they could score a lone goal to extend their recent upturn.

A month on from their five-goal thriller in Saudi Arabia, Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter Milan will meet for a more conventional Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.
While Inter need points to aid their defence of the Scudetto, Milan aim to beat their foes for a third time this season, as the second-city rivals clash at San Siro.
We say: AC Milan 1-3 Inter Milan
The last time Inter failed to score before half time in a Serie A derby was back in February 2020, so expect a fast start from a team keen on exacting revenge for back-to-back defeats.
While Milan are still in a mess, their city rivals have been nearing their best in recent weeks and should prove too hot to handle.

Roma vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Roma's revival will be put to the test on Sunday evening, when Serie A leaders Napoli pay a visit to Stadio Olimpico for the Derby del Sole.
After inching up to ninth in Italy's top flight, the Giallorossi secured progress in the Europa League, while their southern rivals stayed clear of the chasing pack with last week's win over Juventus.
We say: Roma 1-1 Napoli
Roma are far tougher to beat at home than away, so they could stall Napoli's winning run and keep their own momentum building.
Shutting out Antonio Conte's side entirely may be too much to ask, but Claudio Ranieri's men have sufficient firepower to score at least once.
