Preview: Anderlecht vs. Galatasaray

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's encounter between Anderlecht and Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Anderlecht and Galatasaray meet in Belgium on Wednesday knowing that their chances of making it through to the last 16 of the Champions League are all but over.

The two teams are currently in a race with Arsenal to clinch second place in Group D, but the Gunners look certain to qualify thanks to their five-point cushion with two games to play.

However, should Arsenal lose to already-qualified Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium, then Anderlecht or Gala can capitalise to make things interesting for the final round of fixtures.

Their previous encounter ended 1-1 in Turkey as a late goal from Burak Yilmaz salvaged the hosts a valuable share of the spoils.

Both sides are currently in indifferent form, with neither being able to put together a run of two wins or more in their last six games in all competitions.

Anderlecht will be without Matias Suarez through injury, while Steven Defour, Fabrice N'Sakala and Bram Nuytinck are all doubtful. Hakan Balta and Semih Kaya are sidelined for the visitors, who are also missing the suspended Blerim Dzemaili.
