Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to hold discussions with Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Having been appointed as the new boss at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta is expected to make changes to his squad during the January transfer window.
However, according to ESPN, the Spaniard is equally eager to resolve the futures of Aubameyang and Lacazette, who have deals with the Gunners until 2021 and 2022 respectively.
The report suggests that the most pressing concern is the latter, who is seemingly against penning fresh terms unless Arsenal earn a place in next season's Champions League.
Arteta allegedly wants to hold individual talks with each player before deciding how to act during 2020.
In Arteta's first game in charge against Bournemouth, Aubameyang netted the equaliser as Arsenal recorded a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium.
