Arsenal's Chuba Akpom heading for loan exit?

Speculation claims that Arsenal are looking to loan out 18-year-old striker Chuba Akpom, with three League One clubs interested.

Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom will reportedly depart the club on a loan basis next month.

The striker made his senior debut against Sunderland back in September, but he has only featured in a League Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion since then.

As a result, the Gunners are prepared to loan out the 18-year-old in order for him to gain more starting action.

That has alerted a host of clubs, including League One sides Peterborough United, Brentford and the MK Dons, according to the Daily Star.

Akpom joined Arsenal as a trainee back in 2002.
