Jordan Cousins: "I do support Arsenal"

Following reports that he is a transfer target of Arsenal, Charlton Athletic's Jordan Cousins reveals that he supports the Gunners.

Charlton Athletic youngster Jordan Cousins has admitted that he is a fan of Arsenal.

The Gunners are believed to have watched the 20-year-old score the winning goal during Charlton's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest last night.

However, despite having revealed his affection for Arsenal, the versatile youngster has insisted that he is fully focused on continuing his progress with the Addicks.

"I do support Arsenal. Obviously the Premier League is my long-term dream but the short-term is about keeping Charlton in the Championship. I've got two more years on my contract and I'm focused on that," he told the London Evening Standard.

"Charlton give you a chance to express yourself and play in the first team and that's what I want to do."

Cousins joined Charlton as a trainee back in 2006.
