Mesut Ozil 'fears he has played last game for Arsenal'

Mesut Ozil allegedly fears that he has played his last game for Arsenal after falling out of favour under Unai Emery.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil allegedly fears that he may have played his last game for the Premier League giants.

Despite the Gunners being keen to get the playmaker off the wage bill during the summer, no deal could be reached with any interested clubs.

However, Ozil has been used sparingly by Unai Emery and the manager recently suggested that the German did not deserve to be in the starting lineup.

According to The Mirror, Ozil now feels that he may not get the opportunity to represent Arsenal again as the club look to attract offers in January.

While the 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to Turkey, it remains unclear whether any of their top clubs can afford Ozil's wages.

The former Real Madrid man still has just under two years left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
